firstly allow me to establish my position. I am not a reptile or zoological specialist- I am a partner in a rural small animal practice. I came into reptile work by chance and have now established an interest in reptile veterinary medicine for several years. I see reptiles on a regular basis and offer medical and surgical treatments.

This site is not a comprehensive guide to reptile medicine but is designed to give a guide to the way in which I approach the diagnosis and treatment of reptile cases together with illustrations of some of the more common problems that I see and ways to treat and avoid them.
